Jason's Friday Fright: Organ Harvesting in China.

So, imagine you decide to take up gentle exercise, such as Yoga, or Pilates, and start getting into the lifestyle, and discover methods of meditation, and finding peace.  Soon you find out that, for what ever reason, your government has branded your way as fake, and silly.  Soon you find that you are being watched at work, at home and school.  Your professors start grading your work a little harder than that of the rest of the students, and you start getting the quiet treatment at work.

Then, one evening, after meeting with several of your friends, you notice someone following you.  You walk a little faster, and they speed up.  As you look back, you run straight into the largest police officer you've ever seen, and he's not alone.  You relax in relief thinking Of all the times to run into a cop.... Am I glad to see you!  But then, he grabs your arm, and the other grabs you around the waist.  They handcuff you and drag you into a large van.

In the dim light, you recognize a few of your friends from your meditation group, gagged, with their hands behind their back.  Some still wearing their workout clothes.
What the Hell is going on here?

You can't quite make out where you are going as the van drives for several hours, and slows down twice, as it is waived through checkpoints before making several tight turns and comes to a stop.  You hear indistinct shouting and the back of the van opens up.  Before you can think, you are pulled by the arm out of the van and told to stand in place.  Several unifornmed soldiers carrying riflles herd you and your friends into a line and order you to not speak.  The air is cold in the predawn darkness.

You are seperated and marched into what appears to be an examination room.  A man in a white doctor's coat spends the next hour thouroughly examining you and taking many notes.  Against your will, they draw several tubes of blood. .  You are becomming more and more frustrated as everyone involved ingnores your questions and protests as if they don't hear you speaking.  Finally, you are given a prisioner's uniform.

You've no doubt heard rumors about being able to get a kidney, or even a liver in China from 'executed prisoners'.  Several investigations have confirmed this.  What you may not have heard is that in China, you can be imprisoned and executed for simply having a needed organ.

Good Morning Universe.

Good Morning Universe.... or at least the part that has access to the internet.   It's easy to forget that 5 billion people still don't, or have limited access.   I guess I need to be thankful that I and many of my friends do.   I'm also thankful for my friends.   Susan, Jenni, Amanda, Lance, several Daves, Brian, Angie, About 6 people named Nyla...Hahah, there is only one Nyla, but she's cool enough for six people..   There are many others, including my awesome parents.   We grate on eachothers nerves alot, but that's just because we're so much alike.  - Hugs to all of you.

Now, back to that 5 billion people that don't have good access... Any ideas?  What can we do about that.
I guess first, we need to make sure they have food, clean water, and basic meds.   Then they might be interested in the net.    Any ideas?

Example

Ok, here's an example of exactly what I was talking about in the first post.   I got back online to post this.  Actually to edit the first post.  I was worried that somebody might be offended by the part about 'people that keep this from me are mean' and misunderstand what I was really saying, or take what I was really saying to be offensive.   I know, there only probably what? a dozen or so people that know this exist tonight, and here I was giving too much of  a .... Nope, cant say the S-word.   Somebody might be offended.....Errrgghhhhhh
DRAT!

So did any of the posts Ive done tonight offend anyone in any way?   Jeez.... when I put it like that I want to slap my self as a whiny dork.  Hahaha.
Maybe a better question should be.... WHO GIVES A S#|T ????
But.... i don't really feel that way.

Stream

If you haven't figured out yet.  I am doing this stream of consciousness style, and not letting myself go back and proofread.   I am just letting it flow out.  Like a brainstorming session.  I guess that way you'll see more into my internal operations.  Don't worry.  I'll translate.  I won't send something like :

07F33A 162182 2A21F0
163861  B6114A B63311

and expect you to know what I'm thinking.

You'll probably see lots more spelling errors, and punctuation problems than normal.   Just consider it raw data.
I've been told I think too much about what other people think.  I don't know.  Isn't that how we maintain a sense of empathy?  I think that is how we know when something is polite or not.   I think that is what makes us polite.  If I didn't think about what my friends think I might say something that pisses them off. (There, I just worried that perhaps somebody will be offended that I said 'piss' )  I think most of my friends will understand and not be worried about it.  We use certain words to communicate not just a concept, but the intensity, and position of that concept in relation to other concepts.   Sometimes these things are good.   The problem is that these will not be understood accurately ten to fifteen years from now.  I know that meanings of many phrases, at least the connotations they carry, have changed in my life time.  I remember the first time I heard 'Wicked' to mean 'Cool' or awesome. I automatically understood because the culture had shifted in that direction and made that the best choice for the concept.

Since I am constantly concerned with how things I say and do affect others, I thrive on constant feedback.  It is very painful, and anxiety driving for me not to know how someone feels about something.  Most people that know me probably figured that out, so they make sure I know how they feel.   My friends do anyway.  I figure those that know this, and keep those ideas from me are not very nice people.   There is the chance that they are afraid they will offend me, though, and so, I must communicate now, that if you are one of those people, as long as I know you have my best interest in mind, and stay polite about what you are saying, and never accusing. I would truely like to know what you really think.

I try to use emoticons to let people know the subtle visual cues that I would be normally giving in a face to face conversation, and I find those most useful.   I suppose a video email would be good too, but then I would re-record it 11 or 12 times to make sure I showed the facial gestures I wanted to convey, and made sure they mean only what I think they mean.   Communication is so much more complete face to face, eye to eye.  (and/but) it requires honesty.

So, what do you think..... I'll be anxiously (as in anxiety) waiting for your responses. :D
